Starting in Delhi, the journey takes you through historic cities like Nawalgarh, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bundi, and Jaipur. Key highlights include visits to iconic landmarks such as the Taj Mahal in Agra, Amber Fort in Jaipur, and Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur.
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Upon your arrival in Delhi, you will be welcomed by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel. After a quick refreshment, you can spend the rest of the day exploring the city on your own. Visit some of the popular tourist attractions such as the India Gate, Lotus Temple, and Red Fort.
Day 2: Delhi sightseeing
Start your day with an early morning breakfast and after that visit the iconic Red Fort, an impressive monument from the Mughal era that was used by the Mughal emperors as their residence. Then, visit the Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque. After that, head to Chandni Chowk, an old marketplace in Delhi, for some shopping.
In the afternoon, explore the beautiful gardens of Humayun’s Tomb, followed by a visit to the Qutub Minar complex. Spend the evening at Connaught Place, a shopping and entertainment district in the city. Finally, end your day with a visit to India Gate, the memorial to the Indian soldiers who were martyred in World War I. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi to Mandawa
Today, you will drive to Mandawa, a small town located in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. This town is known for its beautifully painted havelis and grand mansions. On your arrival, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring the town.
Day 4: Mandawa to Bikaner
The next day, you will drive to Bikaner, another historic town known for its rich cultural heritage. You will visit the famous Junagarh Fort and the Camel Breeding Farm. After a half day of sightseeing, check into your hotel for the night.
Day 5: Bikaner to Jaisalmer
The next day, you will drive to Jaisalmer, a golden city located in the Thar Desert. You will visit the famous Jaisalmer Fort and the Jain Temples. Spend the night at your hotel and prepare yourself for an adventurous camel safari in the Thar Desert.
Day 6: Jaisalmer
For the next two days, you will embark on a camel safari and explore the Thar Desert. You will camp under the stars and experience the local culture and traditions. Explore the Patwon-Ki-Havelies, Salim-Singh-Ki-Haveli, the Gadi Sagar reservoir, and much more
Day 7: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur
Today, you will drive to Jodhpur, a city known for its imposing Mehrangarh Fort and blue-painted houses. You will visit the fort and the Jaswant Thada Memorial. Spend the night at your hotel in Jodhpur.
Day 8: Jodhpur to Kumbhalgarh
The next day, you will drive to Kumbhalgarh, a remote town located in the Aravalli hills. You will visit the Kumbhalgarh Fort and the famous Haldighati. Spend the night at your hotel.
Day 9: Kumbhalgarh to Udaipur
Today, you will drive to Udaipur, the city of lakes. You will visit the Ranakpur Jain temples that lie on the route. Pray at these temples and resume your journey. On reaching Udaipur, check in to your hotel and take a rest.
Day 10: Udaipur Sightseeing
After having a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will spend exploring Udaipur, and visiting some of its famous lakes, palaces, and temples. You will visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, and Fateh Sagar Lake. Spend the night at your hotel in Udaipur.
Day 11: Udaipur to Chittorgarh
Today, you will drive to Chittorgarh, a city known for its imposing Chittorgarh Fort. You will visit the fort, the Rana Kumbha Palace, and the Vijay Stambh. Spend the night at your hotel.
Day 12: Chittorgarh to Jaipur
The next day, you will drive to Jaipur, the Pink City. Take a stroll at the nearby markets and spend the night at your hotel in Jaipur after enjoying a delicious dinner at the Chokhi Dhani Resort.
Day 13: Jaipur Sightseeing
On the next day, grab your healthy breakfast and get ready for a wonderful full-day Jaipur city tour. You will visit the Amber Fort, the Hawa Mahal, and the City Palace. Later enjoy the astronomical observatory at the Jantar Mantar, visit the Albert Hall Museum, and spend your evening at the Maan Sagar lake. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 14: Jaipur to Delhi
Today, you will drive back to Delhi and from there you will return to your hotel. Your 14 Days Rajasthan Cultural Tour has come to an end. You will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey with memories that will last a lifetime.
